It works fine with my Lincoln Innershield flux-core 0.035" diameter wire on my Lincoln SP-125 Plus welder with the standard Magnum 100L gun. Plenty of extra length--easy to cut-to-length with side cutters. This will bridge the switch circuit and make the welder feed. If it works, the problem is the gun, (tip, liner) and if it doesnt, the issue is somewhere else in your machine. It was stored in my dads basement on the floor and the city storm drain backed up and put 3in of water into the machine. I tried to use it the other day and this is what happened. Blow out gun and install new liner. before cutting liner install brass diffuser. with gun out straight cut liner flush with end of diffuser. use a side cutter and not a cutting wheel. split coils, bend to 45 degrees and cut..
